Gambling
Recently I had an interesting conversation with a friend about poker. He was so excited about the best online poker websites and told me about how much money he won. I am still wondering about that stuff, never got excited about online poker. Once I tried Black Jack but that’s it. Anyway, it really looks like he makes money with it.Many players like to gamble because “Money won is twice as sweet as money earned”. Everybody know this quote from the movie “Color of Money”. Paul Newman had shiny eyes after he said that and also all the players do when they talk about their big wins. I remember the day I got my first money after winning a tournament(I still have it framed in my pool room). And I for sure had the same eyes after I got it. But I never got into gambling on the pool table or poker. I would be interesting to get some opinions of you guys why you like to gamble and why not (Us the comment function). Maybe somebody of you can get me into the “full tilt poker code“.
Another question: Did anybody of you ever try to play poker pool?
I found this picture on the web and I am curious about how it is played.
The rules would be interesting…..

Dream of my home village
Finally my girlfriend and me had time to do a walk on a beautiful day thru my home village.
I wanted to shoot some pictures and get some different views …. just doing something new.
So I set myself some limits…. I took the 50mm lens and tried to shoot everything with 1.4 (I think there is only one picture with 2.8). One of my favorites is the field that looks like the sea and the swan (was kind of tough to get his head sharp with 1.4) enjoy the pictures.

Poker?
A lot of people (for sure pool and snooker players also) have started to play live and online poker. A lot of my friends have told me about big wins and great deals(one has even made a living out of it). They are always very excited about it and it seems like they have a great time. I still haven’t tried it so please let me know if you are a poker winner or if you stick more with pool.

Goodbye Little
After 10,5 years little, our German shepherd passed away.
Our little sweet baby….with so much need for love…always patiently and also playful….laying beside me….sometimes silently barking and moving your legs during your dreams.
That’s how I miss you….
You were a part of our life and we will never forget you.

Last day in Beijing
So how was Beijing?
I got a lot of nice meals here, saw the Great Wall, the Forbidden City and the Summer Palace. We went to a go-kart track….I had there some issues with my body size and the seats
but it was a lot of fun and I finished second
. I saw a lot of pool rooms here in Beijing and all of them were very beautiful. We went shopping and I explored the city a bit by myself….saw nice buildings, shopping malls and a very beautiful park (Tuan Jie Hu Park). Tomorrow I will be on my way home…
But today I wanna say thank you again to Eric Ding (President of Yalin Billiards) and to all the people from top147.com (mr. Liang, mr. Jing Ning, Tai Chengzhe, Neil McLean and two more who helped me with the translation (sorry forgot your names
) ….I hope I did not miss anybody)
All of you made my vacation here in China something special and I will try to come back as soon as possible (this time not alone
)
Thank you again…..
